  • From 53 samples (13 of leaves, 18 of litters and 22 of soils ), which were collected in Phongn ha - Keb ang National Park, 57 yeast strains were isolated. Those yeast strains were identified based on the morphological characteristics and the sequence analysis of D1/D2 domain of 26S rDNA. They belonged to 13 genera and 26 species, of which 5 were suspected as new species. A mong 13 genera , Basidiomycetous yeasts were dominant from isolated samples .
