  • The widespread adoption of Internet of Things (IoT) devices built on different architectures gave rise to the creation and develop ment of multi-architecture malware for mass compromise. Cross-architecture malware detection plays an important role in detecting malware early on devices using new or strange architectures. Prior knowledge of malware detection on traditional architectures can be inherited for the same task on new and uncommon ones. Basing on CFD and Vex intermediate representation, we propose a fea-ture selection method to detect cross-architecture malware, called CFDVex. Experimental evaluation of the proposed approach on our large IoT dataset achieved good results for c...

  • Hibiscus sabdariffa L. has been used traditionally as food and in herbal medicine because its calyxes are rich of flavonoids source especially quercetin and anthocyanin. In addition, its antibacterial activity is implied to be helpful for human health even at the low concentration. In this study, we investigated the in vitro antibacterial activity and quantified the free quercetin in hibiscus extract using sensitive and reliable methods such as agar disk diffusion, HPTLC and LC-MS/MS. The results indicated that crude methanol extract of hibiscus calyxes had strong antibacterial activity. The total phenolic and flavonoid contents of hibiscus calyxes were 25.07 mg GAE/g DW and 29.96 mg ...

  • This paper is concerned with the robust stability of linear differential-algebraic equations (DAEs). A system of linear DAEs subjected to structured perturbation is considered. Computable formulas of the complex stability radius are given and analysed. A comparison of our formula to previous results is given.
