The study shows the results of transitivity and modality. In terms of transitivity, material processes dominate thespeech with a total occurrence of 55,4 % here as the existential process types are used minimally in the speech with a total occurrence of 12,5 %. It also seeks to analyse her persuasive strategies in calling for support for Ukrainian people. The findings reveal that Hillary strategically criticises President Putin‘s actions and his political moves while portraying President Zelenskyy and the national unity in Ukraine in a positive light. attempts to uncover underlying discursive structures in Hillary Clinton‘s
presidential campaign discourse. The specific aim is to identify elements of
gender references, persuasive techniques and social inclusion and exclusion. The
analysis shows that gender references are marked by implicitness, and Clinton
performs both stereotypical masculine and feminine genders.

Về phía sinh viên, các em cho biết phát ngôn của giáo viên nhìn chung là phù hợp và có ích cho việc học tiếng Anh trên lớp. Một kết quả quan trọng khác đó là khi phân tích về chiến lược lịch sự của giáo viên Việt Nam, người nghiên cứu không nên chỉ áp dụng lí thuyết của Brown và Levinson, mà nên phân tích tình huống đa chiều hơn.
