  • One of the important issues of the fundamental and comprehensive reform of higher education is to innovate the management of financial activities in universities. Public universities increasingly have a high degree of autonomy in the use of state budget sources and in the exploitation and use of revenues. The fact that the State is gradually reducing the recurrent budget for higher education in order to improve the competitiveness of universities, forcing universities to promote the potential of their units to expand their scale and diversify their activities to meet social needs. The article mentions some contents in the management of financial activities at public universities f...

Effect of halide anions on structure of 1-butanol monolayer/water interface probed by sum-frequency vibrational spectroscopy. VNU Journal of Science, Mathematics- Physics, 33, 1, 8-13. (2017)

  • In this report, we use a sum-frequency generation vibrational spectroscopy to measure SFG spectra from 1-Butanol monolayers on pure water and halide saline solution interfaces. These spectra indicate that halide anions have different effects on the structure of 1-Butanol monolayer/water interfaces. The obtained SFG spectra suggest that the I¯ anions mostly disturb the interfacial structure due to their largest surface propensity among those investigated.

  • Education is a part of the social structure and has a significant influence on the development of each country. Education investment has definite targets and must achieve specific requests. Financial resources exert an important and direct impact on educational development. Normally, countries with mechanisms and policies to mobilize a lot of financial resources to invest in education build their own developed education systems and produce educational outputs which are of high quality and able to fulfill more and more demanding requirements of the labor market. Coordinating or allocating more financial resources for a particular discipline or a level of education will help that disc...

  • Laser-induced thermal explosion of metallic nanoparticles originates from nonlinear optical effect. Nonlinear optical properties of nanoparticle materials depend strongly on their size and shape. Several methods were proposed to produce nanoparticles of a controlled size and welldefined distribution. We studied to prepare silver nanoparticles by laser ablation. The characteristic spectral feature o f the silver nanoparticles (peak around 400nm ) was found in the absorption spectra measured by a UV-Vis 2450 spectrom eter. The size and shape distribution of silver nanopaiticlcs was observed and analyzed by a transmission electron microscope (JEM 1010-JEOL). Two different surfactants we...

  • In this report, we studied the effect of halide salt concentration on Arachidic Acid (AA) Langmuir monolayers formed on salt solutions, such as NaCl, NaI, NaF by using a Sum-Frequency Generation Vibrational Spectroscopy. In the SFG spectra, we observed the peak intensities of CH3FR and CH3SS vibrational modes decreased when increasing the salt concentration. This observation indicates that the structure of the AA monolayer was disordered by the interaction of the dissolved ions with the carboxyl head groups of the monolayer.

  • Validation of a High-Performance Liquid Chromatographic Method with Diod Array Detection for the Quantification of Citral and Formulation of Insect Repellent Cream from Lemongrass Oil.pdf.jpg

  • Lemongrass oil derived from some species of grasses in the family of Poaceae (particularly Cymbopogon citratus) posses a highly effective insect repellent potential. In Vietnam, this product is widely commercially available but its quality is not strictly controlled. From a formulator's perspective, lemongrass essential oil is not suitable for direct application on the skin because high concentrations of citral, major chemical constituent of this oil, may cause local irritation. In addition, this compound is volatile, resulting in a short repellent effect. Contributing to solve these problems, a high-performance liquid chromatography with diode array detection was developed for the si...
