  • With advantages such as high strength, high stiffness, high chemical resistance, light weight...composite tubes are widely applied in urban construction and petroleum industry. In this report, the authors used the displacement method to study the mechanical behavior (shess, strain...) of an infinite hollow cylinder made of composite material under unsteady, axisymmetric plane temperature field. In the numerical calculations, we mainly studied the influence of time and volume ratio of the particle on the displacement and thermoelastic stress of a cylinder made of Titanium /PVC composite.

  • LaFeO3 doped Ti, Co and Cu with the high thermoelectric property has been prepared by solid state reaction method at high temperature. The phase composition, crystalline structure have been determined by XRD. Study on the electric (ρ-T), (σ-T), thermoelectric properties such as the Seebeck coefficient (S), power factor (PF) has been performed. The doping of ions Co and Cu increased the electric conductivity (σ) and power factor (PF) of the samples.

  • Hydroxyl and oxirane functionality were calculated from molecular weight and hydroxyl or oxirane-oxygen content of polyol. The effect of reaction parameters like the amount of reagents, catalyst, temperature and time on a polyol synthesis was studied through the hydroxyl and oxirane functionality of product. Moreover, the impact of the parameters on the selectivity of catalyst was determined by comparing a polyol yield to an epoxide ring opening yield. When the hydroxylation reaction was carried out with ESO:H2O molar ratio of 1:15; in 8 wt.% of H2SO4; at temperature of 70oC and in 5 hours, the polyol yield of reaction was 70.32% and the hydroxyl functionality of polyol reached to...
