  • Nerium oleander L. is an evergreen shrub in the dogbane family Apocynaceae and planted throughout the tropical region. It has cardiotonic, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and anticancer activities.Nerium oleanderL. has high amount of cardiac glycoside and flavonoids compounds. From methanol extract of flowers of Nerium oleanderL. grown in vietnam, it has been isolated four compounds. Their structures were identified as (1) D 16 -Dehydroadynerigenin, (2) D 16 -Digitoxigenin, (3) Quercetin and (4) Kaempferol on the basis of spectroscopic data and by comparing their physicochemical and spectral data with those published studies.   • Tetracera scandens L. (Dilleniaceae) is a genus of flowering plants of the Dilleniaceae family. It has been reported that Tetracera scandens L. content hight amout of flavonoids. From the ethanol extract of leaves of Tetracera scandens L, we have been isolated six known flavonoids compounds. Their structures were identified as quercetin-3-O-L-rhamnoside (1), genistein (2), quercetin (3), quercetin 3-O-β-D-glucuronide (4), kaempferol (5) and quercetin-3-O-α-L-arabinofuranoside (6) on the basis of spectroscopic data and by comparing their physicochemical and spectral data with those published in literatures

  • Two flavonol glycosides: 5,7,3 ' -trimethoxyquercetin -3-O-β-D-fructofuranoside (1), 7,4′-O-dimethylluteolin 5-O-[α-L-arabinofuranosyl-(1→6)-β-D-glucopyranoside] (2) and one fatty acid ester (Z)-3-hydroxypentan-2-yl-10-aminooctacos-9-enoate (3) were isolated from the leaves of Aconitum carmichaeli Debx growing in Ha Giang province, Vietnam. Their structures were elucidatedby spectroscopic methods, including IR, MS and NMR. This is first time these compounds were isolated from leaves of A. carmichaeli Debx.
