Abstract: This paperpresentsananalyticalapproachtoinvestigatethenonlinearstabilityanalysisofeccentrically stiffened thinFGMcylindricalpanelsonelasticfoundationssubjectedtomechanicalloads,thermalloads and thecombinationoftheseloads.Thematerialpropertiesareassumedtobetemperature-dependent and gradedinthethicknessdirectionaccordingtoasimplepowerlawdistribution.Governingequations are derivedbasingontheclassicalshelltheoryincorporatingvonKarman–Donnell typenonlinearity, initial geometricalimperfection,theLekhnitskysmearedstiffenerstechniqueandPasternaktypeelastic foundations. Explicitrelationsofload–deflection curvesforFGMcylindricalpanelsaredeterminedby applying stressfunctionandGalerkinmethod.Theeffectsofmaterialandgeometricalproperties,im- perfection, elasticfoundationsandstiffenersonthebucklingandpostbucklingoftheFGMpanelsare discussed indetail.Theobtainedresultsarevalidatedbycomparingwiththoseintheliterature..
