Abstract: The results from the questionnaire survey with both teachers and students show that there is a mismatch between teachers’ teaching styles and learners’ learning styles. To be more specific, while the two most preferred learning styles among students are Kinesthetic and Visual, teachers tend to have more favor for Kinesthetic and Auditory. Visual learning receives very little preference from them. Furthermore, while students are disfavor of individual learning, this style ranks third in teachers’ preference for teaching. However, results collected from the interviews with both teachers and students show that students are satisfied with their teachers’ methods and styles. Meanwhile, teachers confirm that their teaching styles vary a lot according to the nature of students, class size, and some other factors.
