  • Xylanase synthesized from filamentous fungi has been shown to have many important applications in industries. In this article, the optimized growing conditions as well as some of the biochemistry characteristics xylanase of Aspergillus niger van Tieghem varnigerhas been studied primarily. The optimized growing conditions of this strainwere determined as follows: bran/husk (1:1, w/w) medium was used, the temperature was 30 oC and the growing time was 7 days. Theoptimized pH of this enzyme was 5 and its optimized temperature was 50 oC. This enzyme is not thermo-stable.   • From 53 samples (13 of leaves, 18 of litters and 22 of soils ), which were collected in Phongn ha - Keb ang National Park, 57 yeast strains were isolated. Those yeast strains were identified based on the morphological characteristics and the sequence analysis of D1/D2 domain of 26S rDNA. They belonged to 13 genera and 26 species, of which 5 were suspected as new species. A mong 13 genera , Basidiomycetous yeasts were dominant from isolated samples . Thirty - four strains out of 57 were mainly grouped into 3 genera of Rhodotorula, Sporobolomyces, Candida and 11 species.   • Tetraselmis species are widely used as food for aquatic animals such crustaceans, bivalves and fish especially in their larvae stage. Three Tetraselmis strains were successfully isolated from the shrimp farming at Vandon , Quangninh. Among them, Tetraselmis strain T1 showed best growth. Medium f /2 was selected as best medium for its growth. Fatty acid profile of Tetraselmis strain T1 consisted of C 16 and C 18 acids as most abundant, which is typical for most green algae.
