  • The areas of Tien Yen and Dam Ha contain high value of biodiversity. A number of species and ecosystems have been identified include 69 species of Phytoplankton, 58 species of Zooplankton, 33 species of sea weeds, 4 species of sea grasses, 228 species of vascular plants, 240 species of Zoobenthods, 112 species of insects, 152 species of fish, 57 species of amphibians and reptiles, 77 species of birds and 13 species of mammals. Of those, there are 5 species which endemic to the area, 30 species are rare and 5 species are endangered. There are also 7 communities of mangroves. Despite of its biodiversity richness, conservation management in the area is still facing a lot of difficulties.
