  • In this paper, we introduce an overview of microwave power transmission system (MPT) including of power transmitter, free space transmission, rectenna. Also, the paper particularly presents in detail the proposed configuration of power transmitter. The presented power amplifier, which has the output of 1W, is fabricated by using AH201. The 1-Watt amplifier plays an important role as driver amplifier in the configuration. In addtion, the 4 – way Wilkinson divider/combiner has been designed and manufactured. All simulations and experimental results will be reported.

  • This paper reports experimental results of a radar system design. In the radar transmitter, a 13-bit Barker code with bit duration 3.24 and various other codes are generated by the microcontroller PIC16F877A, This code is then used to modulate IF 10.3 MHz to become BPSK signal. A stable local oscillator is also designed by PLL, v c o , and PIC16F877A. The operation frequency range of the oscillator is from 800 MHz to 900 MHz with an eưor only about ± 10 Hz.   • This article introduces an overview of a rectifying antenna (rectenna) circuit topology for microwave power transmission system. Specially, a rectenna based on a microstrip patch antenna and a microwave rectifier at 2.45GHz were designed and fabricated. The antenna’s return loss is achieved of -26 dB at 2.45GHz. The microwave to DC conversion efficiency of the rectenna was measured as 40.1% with 24 dBm input power and 220 W load. The design and simulated results were carried out by the microwave engineering professional design software, known as ADS2009 package. All design and simulation results will be reported.

  • The Texas Instrument TMS320VC55I0 DSK's calculation abilitiy with different program languages is investigated for minimum the DSP's measurement time. The steps of Monte Carlo simulations embedded into the DSK's flash through the DSK's JTAG interface for optical parameters measurement including absorption coefficient7.t,, scattering coefficient F, and anisotropy 8'are presented. The obtained results for diluted milk standard samples are also reported.

  • A real-time and simultaneous processing system with 8 analog inputs is designed. The system is based on the development of Texas Instrument TMS320VC5510 DSK kit. The analog input signals are converted into digital ones by 8 bit ADC module using ADC0809. The ADC module interfaces to the DSP in parallel, through the DSP's Memory Expansion Connector. The measurement with standard input signals fom FUNCTION GENERATOR LG1311 is also reported.

  • In the paper, the new microwave modules of NanoDragon satellite’s receiver were designed and fabricated. Purpose of this design is not only reduce budget but also respond to frequency requirement, bandwidth and transmission rate. The microwave modules consist of low noise amplifier (LNA), mixer and local oscillator (LO). These modules operate at S band according to requirement of satellite.   • In this paper, we are dealing with a L-band power combiner method using the Wilkinson bridge. This is a modem power combination technique in the microwave technology. The design and simulink of the basic power moduls and Wilkinson bridge were performed using the ADS soflware. We have researched, designed and fabricated the power combination from the basic 200W moduls. The experimental results showed that power combination method using the Wilkinson bridge may be applicable in the L-band transmission.

  • This paper presents the results of study, design and manufacture of a searching and satellite auto-tracking system used for mobile receiver. This system applies both the traditional proportional integral derivative (PID) control and the fuzzy PID control methods. Firstly, the PID controller was designed by Ziegler-Nichols tuning method to obtain control parameters. Then, a fuzzy controller was applied to tuning online parameters of the PID controller.   • This paper reports on design and fabrication of wide band low noise amplifier (LNA) atC band, which is used for satellite receiver systems. The most important thing in the design of the LNA is to compromise importance characteristics such as gain, noise figure, stability, bandwidth. The results of this paper introduce an approach to design the LNA with gain as high as possible, bandwidth 800 MHz and the lowest noise figure.
