  • The Abelian Higgs Model is considered by means of the Cornwall - Jackiw - Tomboulis (C.JT) effective action at finite temperature. The calculations in Hartnic - Fock approximation is presented and it is shown that the symmetry is restored at the critical temperature which is derived directly from the gap equation.

  • The SU(3) generalized Nambu - Jona - Lasinio (NJL) model is consideredby means of the Cornwall - Jackiw - Tomboulis (CJT) effective action. This method provides a very general framework for investigating many important non- pertubative effects: quark condensate and mesons, thermodynamical quantities at finite tempera­ture. It is shown that the mixing of flavors of u, d and s quarks exists in this formalism. The gap equations, which are directly obtained from the effective potential involved the quark condensate.

  • Within the framework o f the Walecka model (QIID-I)[1] the renormalized effective Dirac equation and the kinetic equation for fermion are presented. In fact, the fermion propagator in the medium is dramatically different from that in the vacuum. The main feature is the treating of the fermion distribution in non equilibrium, which depends on the interaction rate involving temperature.
