  • English is now taught throughout of Vietnam in different levels of education from primary schools to universities because it serves as an international language and as a mean to promote mutual understanding and cooperation between Vietnam and other countries. In fact, more and more people desire to know and master English in order to keep them up -to-date with the global development. As a result, English is taught not only at schools and universities but also at many foreign language centres, on radio, television andeven via the internet

  • A new procedure for calculation and evaluation of XAFS cumulants of fee crystals containing impurity atom has been developed based on the quantum statistical theory with correlated Einstein model. Analytical expressions for the effective local force constants, correlated Einstein frequency and temperature, first cumulant or net thermal expansion, second cumulant or Debye Waller factor and third cumulant of fee crystals containing impurity atom have been derived. Morse potential parameters of pure crystals and those with impurity included in the derived expressions have been calculated. Numerical results for Cu. Ni. Ni-Cu are found to be in good agreement with experiment

  • Herbal extract, rich with natural compounds, has been used for medicinal purpose such as treating neurological disorders such as cognitive defection for a long period of time, often without significant adverse effects. We compared AChE and BuChE – inhibition effect of total extracts and fractions of Huperzia serrata (Thunb.) Trevis. with alcaloid-rich extract. Our samples were subjected under supersonic extraction with ethanol 50o as solvent and fractionally extracted with nhexane, EtOAc and n-butanol, respectively; alcaloid-rich extract was collected simutaneously. Ellman’s method was used to assay AChE and BuChE inhibition activity. Results: Alcaloid-rich extraction proved to be the...

  • Malignant Hyperthermia and Gene Polymorphisms Related to Inhaled Anesthesia Drug Response.pdf.jpg

  • Malignant hyperthermia (MH) is a clinical response happened to patient who is sensitive with inhaled anesthesia drug that could cause suddently death. Many previous studies showed that malignant hyperthermia strongly related to genetic background of patients including RYR1, CACNA1S or STAC3 gene polymorphisms. With the development of high technology such as next generation sequencing, scientists found that 37 to 86 percents of MH cases had RYR1 mutations and approximately 1 percent of those had CACNA1S mutations. Gene analysis testing was recommended to apply for patient with MH medical history or MH patient’s family relations.
