  • Graphene oxides embedded with copper oxide (GO@CuO)nanocomposite were successfully synthesized via hydrothermal method. The nanoparticles were characterized by XRD, SEM, TEM and BET surface area analysis. The nanocomposite modified electrode is used for the detection of dopamine and paracetamol using cyclic voltammetry with a scan rate of 50 mVs-1. The voltammograms obtained during the oxidation studies revealed that as synthesized GO@CuO nanocomposite sensor shows high catalytic activity in sensing.
