dc.description.abstract | The Gomi Stop project was born with the aim of solving waste problems at schools, improving students' knowledge and awareness about garbage classification and contributing to promoting the circular economy across the country. The project conducted a survey on 217 University of Languages and International Studies‟s students to discover the current status of garbage classification at schools, identify obstacles that make it difficult for students to carry out garbage classification at school, and design products to help solve those problems. After identifying the main reasons why students have not done garbage classification or have not done regular garbage classification at school such as lack of knowledge about garbage classification and there is no good the school's trash cans system, the prototype of waste sorting guide handbook and the new garbage sorting station model inspired by the model of the garbage sorting station of Kamikatsu town was launched. After nearly a month of experience, the project conducted the second survey out of 100 students to test and improve the project‟s products. In addition to student feedback, the project also received feedback from two partners, Green Life organization and 3SR company. After the data collection is completed, the project's product prototypes will continue to be edited and perfected before the final product is put into practice. Other universities can refer to this project as a green solution for the school environment. | vi |
