Next, the author of the thesis uses Inductive and deductive methods, going from the general theoretical concept of tourism development to the practical application of analyzing the tourism development situation in Hanoi city. The author also analyzes the city's expansion process in the period of 2018 - 2022 to assess its achievements and limitations. In addition, SWOT Matrix Tool (Strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats) is also used in the research. The SWOT matrix is an abbreviation of four words: Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats. The SWOT analysis method (also known as the SWOT matrix) is a method of strategic analysis, reviewing and evaluating the position and orientation of a company or a business project based on strengths and weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
