  • Chemical composition of essential oils of Litsea lancilimba Merr. in Vu Quang National Park, Ha Tinh Province

  • Chemical composition of essential oils obtained from the leaf of Litsea lancilimba were reported. The analysis was performed by means of gas chromatography-flame ionization detector (GC-FID) and gas chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry (GC-MS). Thirty four components were identified in leaf oil of Litsea lancilimba, which represented about 90.8% of the total composition of the oil. The major constituents of the essential oil were benzaldehyde (52.0%), 1-ethyl-4-methoxybenzene (14.6%), β-caryophyllene (5.4%) and δ-cadinene (4.6%).

  • The study result of diversity of Annonaceae in Vu Quang National park reported, 43 species and 1 variety among more than 207 reported species and varieties, new recorded list plants 4 genera, 28 species for Vu Quang. These plants are used to treat different diseases that we grouped into: 44 species and varieties for essential oils, 25 species for medicinal plants, 6 species for timber plants, 4 species for edible, 6 species for ornamental plants, 2 species for poisonous plants. In the stems form, the creeping vines dominated with 25 species, followed by small groups of trees with 10 species; groups of large trees with 6 species, groups of shrubs 3 species.
