  • The Covid-19 epidemic has fundamentally changed face-to-face training to online training at most educational and training institutions in the period of 2019-2021. In that context, although the online training of advanced political theory at the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics has made significant progress, there are still some problems with the quality of the training. Based on the analysis of data using questionnaire surveys of 660 students and 55 lecturers participating in online teaching and learning of advanced political theory in the period of May and June 2021, the article presents an evaluation and analysis of the current situation of online training of advanced polit...

  • In this article, we have considered the possible signatures of radion through Bhabha scattering. The numerical results show that the total cross section with radion effects are about 1.43-19.70 pb. This could have important implications for radion searches and for the measurement of the crosssection of the Bhabha scattering. PACS number: 12.60. Cn, 12.20.-m, 42.55.-f.

  • Human adenovirus (HAdVs) are responsible for about 65-90% of viral conjunctivitis. Understandings of HAdVs bring promises in prevention, treatments, and biological preparations. However, thorough researches on structural proteins of HAdVs are still limited in Vietnam. In this study, we have sequenced the entire coding gene of protein hexon from HAdV-3 causing conjunctivitis in Vietnam and compared with the reference sequence in NCBI database. We detected 42 DNA variants, of which, 11 resulted in amino acid substitutions. Simulation of HAdV-3 hexon structure showed that all 11 substitutions located in crucial positions. This result revealed high risks from hexon gene variants of HAdV-3...

  • Project based-learning is an effective teaching method being used widely in the world nowadays. In Vietnam, there has been an increasing interest in the application of this method among educators, lectures and teachers. However, at Department of Academic Foundations, International School, Hanoi National University , Project based-learning is not commonly applied in classrooms. Results from questionaires for lectures here revealed that although 68% of the lectures have heard about project based-learning, not so many of them are clear about the benefits as well as the procedure of the method. The majority of them (92%) would like to know more about the method and hope to have the oppotu...
