Tuy nhiên, để đáp ứng các tiêu chí trở thành một trường đại học quốc tế, thì số lượng và chất lượng nguồn nhân lực tại Khoa còn có nhiều hạn chế, đặc biệt là đội ngũ giảng viên, đội ngũ trí thức và nghiên cứu khoa học còn mỏng và chưa đáp ứng đủ về số lượng và chất lượng theo tiêu chí của Đại học Quốc gia Hà Nội.
