  • By using Nd: YAG laser, we have successfully prepared noble metal nanoparticles (Au, Ag), semi - conductor nanoparticles (Si), and metalic alloy nanoparticles (Au/Ag) in different clean liquids (such as pure water, ethanol....). Both metal and semi - conductor nanoparticles were synthesized by laser ablation of pure metal or semi - conductor plate in liquids. Au/Ag alloy nanoparticles were prepared by laser induced synthesis from a mixture of colloidal Au and Ag nanoparticles.
