  • To ensure the magnetostrictive softness, the homogeneity, the decrease of the shear-lag effect and the space-saving construction of narrowed longitudinal-transverse L-T magnetoelectric (ME) composites, a novel parallel-connected-multi-bars (PCMB) geometry of PZT/Metglas is proposed and investigated by simulation and experiment. In this case, Metglas layers are structured in different geometries from the conventional single bar (c-SB) to conventional separated multiple bars (c-SMB), elongated separate multi-bar (e-SMB) and n-magnetic-bar based PCMB (n-PCMB). This n-PCMB geometry divides the conventional ME configuration into n parallel-connected ME units (n-PCMEU) according to the magn...

  • This research delves into the perceptions of students regarding the impact of social media on their academic performance. The objective of the study was to examine how students view the influence of social media on their study habits, time management, and overall academic performance. The results indicate that while many students recognize the distracting nature of social media, some also believe that it can enhance their learning by providing increased accessibility to educational content. The study emphasizes the benefits of utilizing social media based on student feedback, such as supporting research, improving communication, and positively impacting Grade Point Average (GPA...

  • With the rapid growth of information technology, Internet and digital libraries have been developing so fast that illegal copying of documents is becoming easier and more popular. A challenging question is how to identify documents with similar content which are candidate of plagiarism. There are several approaches for estimating the similarity between two documents and each has its own advantages and disadvantages. An approach may be effective in one domain but may not work in others. In this paper, we propose a unified plagiarism detection framework that can identify which approach works most effectively in a new domain. Experimental results on three different corpora for different ...

  • The aim of this paper is to make an argumentation on why researchers should start from seeking teacher beliefs and teacher perceptions related to the teaching career. It is organized around three main points: (1) the re-examination of terms related to all perspectives of beliefs and perceptions of teachers in general and teachers of English in particular; (2) the current state of English language teaching in Vietnamese secondary schools; and (3) the importance of studying teacher belief and teacher perceptions of teachers of English about curriculum, textbooks and teaching methodology.
