In addition, the data of the study were mainly collected through pre and post-tests, a questionnaire, a semistructured interview. Besides, to ensure the validity and reliability of the research, documentation from other sources such as a reflective journal was employed. The findings show that there is an improvement in students’ writing skills. Also, the attitudes towards writing of the students are ameliorated thanks to the journal writing activity. Besides, the researcher suggests that English teachers had better implement daily journals in their classes so as to enhance students’ writing skills. The process should be mainly focused on, not only the product.
