用いられ、日本語とベトナム語においてもそれぞれ存在の意味を表す表現がある。
日本語において、存在の为体が有情物/非情物であることによって使われる動詞
「ある/いる」が異なる。それに対し、ベトナム語における存在表現にはそのよ
うな区別がない。この差異のため、ベトナム人学習者は日本語存在文の表す意味
を正しく理解できないことがあると認められている。本研究では、存在動詞「あ
る」「いる」の使い分けを体系的にまとめ、また日本語の文学小説にある存在文
を考察し、ベトナム語版の訳文を対照したうえで、適切な翻訳し方を分類ごとに
提案する。
