The examined factors included lending interest rates, consumer price index (a gauge of inflation), VND/USD exchange rate, global gold prices, oil prices, and foreign direct investment (FDI). Research results show that there is a positive correlation between the VN-Index stock price index and oil prices, with inflation and FDI having a negative correlation; Meanwhile, exchange rates, inflation and gold prices have no relationship with stock price.
